  • 1st Day. Arrival in Uzbekistan


    Arrival in Tashkent from Frankfurt on flight at 21:20 local time. Meeting at the airport and transfer to a hotel.  Overnight stay at a hotel in Tashkent.

  • 2nd Day. Tashkent


    After breakfast, you can devote your 1st day in Uzbekistan to the sights of the city. First, visit the square of Khast – Imam with the beautiful medreseh of Barak Khan, mosque of Tilla-Sheikh and mausoleum of KAffal-Shashi. Here you can take a look at the Koran, penscript by khalif Usman (644-656). Also program includes visit to the Museum of Applied arts and medreseh Kukaldash.

    After supper you continue tour about modern sight of the city and visit the Square of Independence and the Square of Amir Timur, Tashkent Subway, with its art decorated stations and the big market named “Chorsu bazaar”. Overnight stay in Tashkent.

  • 3rd Day. Ferghana Valley


    Your journey through the Ferghana Valley will begin with a visit to Kokand – the “city of winds”. Kokand was once an important hub along the Silk Road and with numerous mosques and madrassahs, the religious center of the Ferghana Valley, as well as the capital of the Kokand Khanate. Here you will visit the Juma Mosque with its 98 impressive wooden columns, which today is a museum. In addition, you can visit the magnificent palace of Khudayar Khan, which is a charm from the outside: its facade measures 70 meters and is decorated with countless arabesques and patterns of various styles and materials.

  • 4th Day. Ferghana Valley Craft Center


    A day full of skill awaits you! You will go to Rishtan. The city is famous for its ceramic workshops. Here you will find the traditional Rishtan school of ceramics. There are various schools across the country that practice their own methods and patterns. They will show you a master class and teach you the basics of handicraft.

    After, you can be a direct participant in the preparation of the Ferghana pilaf. And you will be awarded certificates (that you joined the handicraft business and you are an assistant cook for preparing Ferghana pilaf). After you visit Margilan, the center of the Uzbek silk industry. You will visit the “Yodgorlik” silk weaving factory and learn all about the production process of noble fabrics. And also take a walk around the bazaar, visit the Chakar Mosque and Saeed Ahmed Khoja Madrasah. After, through the beautiful mountain scenery, you will again return to the capital of Uzbekistan.   • 5th Day. Republic of Karakalpakstan – Nukus city


    Departure by a morning flight on the route Tashkent – Nukus. Upon arrival, you will travel to Muynak on the edge of the Aral Sea. The city was founded in 1963. Until the 1980s, the city had a port on the southern shore of the Aral Sea, as well as a fish cannery, which used to be a bastion of the local economy.

    Muynak was originally located on the southern shore of the Aral Sea – now this place is located about 200 kilometers from the current shore of the lake. People had to abandon fishing, and most of the inhabitants emigrated. Here you will see the ship cemetery, which opens a view of the endless desert and serves as a monument. On the way back you will make another stop at the ruins of the funeral city of Mizdahan.   • 6th Day. From Nukus to Khiva


    After breakfast, visit the Savitsky Museum. It contains numerous art treasures, including the world’s second largest collection of Russian avant-garde art, one of the largest and very interesting collections of applied art and archaeological finds in Central Asia.   • 7th Day. Oasis - city Khiva

After that, you will be escorted to the Yurt camp of the village of Yangikazgan, located in the Kyzylkum desert.
